Reinforcing Mesh Australia Standard-AS/NZS 4671:2001

We manufacture and supply welded reinforcing mesh according to Australian standards for reinforcing steel mesh AS/NZS 4671:2001. The specific standard specifies the requirement for steel reinforcing materials used in concrete.

Australia standard reinforcing steel mesh fabric types:


  • F52 Mesh 4.75mm x 2.20m x 5.8m: Wire thickness 4.75mm, mesh sheet size 2.20 m x 5.8 m, hole size 200mm x 200mm. Used for reinforcement for concrete structures of moderate strength.
  • F62 Mesh 6.00mm x 2.20m x 5.8m: Wire thickness 6.00mm, mesh sheet size 2.20 m x 5.8 m, hole size 200mm x 200mm. F62 mesh provides enhanced strength due to increased wire thickness ideal for higher tensile reinforcement construction projects.
  • F82 Mesh 7.60mm x 2.20m x 5.8m: Wire thickness 7.60mm, mesh sheet size 2.20 m x 5.8 m, hole size 200mm x 200mm. F82 Mesh is suitable for applications requiring substantial structural support.
  • F92 Mesh 8.55mm x 2.20m x 5.8m: Wire thickness 8.55mm, mesh sheet size 2.20 m x 5.8 m, hole size 200mm x 200mm. F92 Reinforcing mesh offers significant reinforcement capabilities, for heavy-duty framework construction.
  • F102 Mesh 9.5mm x 2.20m x 5.8m: Wire thickness 9.5mm, mesh sheet size 2.20 m x 5.8 m, hole size 200mm x 200mm. F102 Mesh is used for most strong and durable structural construction project.

ASTM A1064/A1064M Standard Galvanized Steel Reinforcement Mesh

We manufacture and supply reinforcing steel mesh according to American standard ASTM A1064/A1064M, the wire mesh is hot dipped galvanized with excellent corrosion resistance meeting ASTM A641/A641M standard set for hot dip galvanizing.

Reinforcing Mesh for Structural Concrete

Formwork Finish Recommended

  • Rough Finish: Applied to the sides of foundations.
  • Smooth Finish: Applied to the sides of plinths, columns, stairs, and walls. Box out holes/form voids with dimensions of 75mm diameter by 200mm depth.

Reinforcement Mesh Types

  • Mild Steel High Tensile Reinforcement Mesh: 25mm diameter wire.
  • Steel reinforcement mesh: Made of wire diameter 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, and 20mm.

Concrete Specification Recommended

  • Standard Concrete: 10MPa strength with 19mm aggregate.
  • Blinding Layer: Minimum thickness of 50mm.
  • High Strength Concrete: 30MPa strength with 19mm aggregate, suitable for plinths, columns, surface beds, bund walls, and walls. Unformed surfaces finished with a power float.

Joints

  • Expansion Joints: 10mm softboard, raked out and sealed with 10x10mm polysulphide sealant.
  • Construction Joints: Integrated into the surface bed.
